WEEK 4 and 5: Handling loads of editing with time pressure

This week was very admin heavy making sure all zooms were condensed down and edited. Ready for the participants to rewatch clearly at any time. These zooms were very time consuming to edit. So, for this week blog I want to incorporate how I learnt how to edit quicker (I learnt this through suggestions from my manager and the internet).

Tips in how to edit quickly:

1. Playback Resolution

2. Playback Zoom Level

3. Transcode Footage

4. Set In and Out Points

5. Use proxies

6. Learn the Shortcuts

7. Ripple Edit

8. Use Workspaces like correctly labelling footage and bins. This led to less confusion.
