Week 15 & 16: My last week hitting off with a marketing campaign

The last 2 weeks of my placement I was assigned to do a marketing campaign based on an old documentary spectacle have created. I decided to look at Guantanamo. These weeks involved watching the documentary and understanding more about shaker aamer. Aswell as writing a review to publicise on social media to bring attention to spectacles VOD. I wanted to draw in the element hashtag #OTD and “It is now five years to the day since shaker was released from prison after serving 13 years”. This taught me the importance to make the most relevant. This is a technique I would defiantly use in the future.

Overall, this placement has really taught me a variety of skills including social media management, editing, marketing, production, etc. I liked this as I got a sense of what each job would be like and discovered more that I would want to either go into social media management or production manager/coordinator role.
Thanks for following my journey through placement. I hope you can see that I feel more confident now to work in the media industries.
