Hello, over the past few weeks in lockdown i’ve really learnt a lot about content creation when not going out as a production team. This has involved more involved with building my skills within graphics and animation. Within Tik Tok especially, i love the creativity and inspo i get from this.

I especially love @maddiwinter creations. Within her clip i wanted to learn how she created the digital art within her video. My first step was to look at digital art stills

this was HARD but i love it!! especially the loop 🙂 // ( edit time: 24 HOURS🌈✨ ) #fyp

I research how on what software to use. I came across procreate pocket app for iPhones (ideally this will be better if you have a new I pad as phone screens are very small).

First step, was to outline then sketch the details of your portrait. I was quite impressed with mine as i’m 100% not an artist so i put this snap – a friend what his done.

I took this one to the next level and as-well as sketching i went over with colouring tools using different layers. This photo was defiantly challenge and i like how it turned out, defiantly room for improvement tho.

For a first attempt i think this was very good. I could defiantly do with improvement. The main problem i found was ideally i need a bigger screen and a pen to be more specific.

Hope you enjoyed this small little blog on introduction to procreate pocket app software. Would highly recommend and very easy to use. Im looking forward to see how i can introduce this format into a moving image.

Bye for now,
