Hello, my name is Lizzie Beadle. Recently we have started a unit called Client and Audience in which we need to create a media solution for real world clients. Due to the world being in the middle of a crisis, its therefore extra important we communicate and work collaboratively.
During this unit i have taken on the responsibility of being Project Manager so i am responsible for the entire workflow of the project and will oversee the design, development, production, testing of product reporting any potential problems and monitoring project slippages and coordinating solutions to problems. I will provide updates the account manager on timescales and scoping the project. I will also be in charge of organising regular production meetings to drive the product where i will create and maintain project plans as well as sending the client brief status updates on where we are out each week. I chose this role as i love organisation and have a great eye for detail. I also decided to to take part in web designer as i want to be challenged to learn something new which is out of my comfort zone. This role consist of making sure the user experience has continuity in the design/content and aesthetics. This will allow me to get more creative.

I’m very exciting to start delivering creative content to Restorative Dorset (set up in 2017) who aim to give a voice by delivering restorative justice interventions. Restorative justice is “The process that brings those harmed by crime and those responsible for the harm into communication, enabling everyone affected by a particular incident to play a part in repairing the harm and finding a positive way forward.”. The problems the company has faced is not enough victims are interested or aware of their service. Therefore, we need to create a more targeted and engaging way to get their message across and increase victim-initiated referrals.
Im looking forward to take on this challenge. I shall be providing updates on how this unit is going in my blog, so stay tuned!
